Talking about my, my, app generation

The new Guardian app is out for the iPad and it's brilliant. I'm a fan of moving daily's online and onto app's as they are easier to access, and perhaps in doing so can spread information better, faster and further through the shared medium of social media.

Just one thing Guardian: where's The Observer app? I'd love to read the features on the iPad every Sunday.

For all non-iPad users The Guardian online is still a perfect read: http://www.guardian.co.uk/

Degas and his ballerina's...

The exhibition started on the 17th September and i am happy to say: i shall go and see this weekend.

I don't think the beauty of the paintings could fail to evoke some sort of joy and emotion within you... and i need a bit of prettiness as Winter is approaching, it is, unfortunately; don't be fooled of late now!

Degas and The Ballet: Picturing Movement is now on at The Royal Academy of Arts - a stunning venue, and a favourite of mine - until the 11th December.

Book tickets, or visit at  http://www.royalacademy.org.uk/exhibitions/degas/

Postmoderism @ The V&A. Sun, shock, 'style and subversion'... what's not to like?

Visiting 'Postmoderism' today was truly eye-opening - and with the backdrop of the beautiful October sun too, who'd have guessed it? -
'Save me from what I want', commodity and commercialism: have we lost our way beyond redemption?
In retrospect I ponder how much the iconic 70's, 80's and 90's movement is interestingly and thoroughly explored at the Victoria and Albert Museum's new opening.
The more i think back on the exhibition's underlying message, the more i enjoyed it.
